The Wind Energy Resource Zone Board (board) was established in December 2008 pursuant to Part 4 of Public Act 295 of 2008 (PA 295), also known as the “Clean, Renewable and Efficient Energy Act.”
October 15, 2009—The Wind Energy Resource Zone Board issued its final report, identifying the four regions in Michigan with the highest level of wind energy harvest potential. The report was submitted to the Michigan Public Service Commission.
